May God give us a revelation
that just as we are forgiven our sins because Jesus Christ paid the price , took the punishment due to us for our sin against God and others
that we can forgive those who sinned against us because the punishment Jesus took,
the price He paid
the suffering He   endured
exceeds our cry for justice many, many times over
forgiveness is not letting the offender off lightly
it's seeing that God's judgement was much more than our cry for justice
May God give us the grace and mercy to forgive

to look at His suffering before and during the cross

it is on this basis and this basis alone that Jesus tells us to forgive others
Forgiveness also sets us free

God restoring Men's Lives (grml)
was born our of a desire to see God heal my own hurts
and the need for a ministry which applies God's word for brave men
who admit our need, weather it be recovery from physical, emotional or sexual abuse or God's comfort in our grief after loosing a close family member or friend.

Whilst these programmes help survivors break addictions,
at the end of the day these addictions were addictions to pain deadening stuff.

I wanted a ministry, a programme which dealt with the memories of  Child Sexual, physical or emotional abuse (csa)
today I also desire a ministry to survivors of adult sexual abuse (asa) which was  the cause of the pain

  I concluded the key is to  to
 open up to the Lord Jesus Christ

 and
 the love of God which casts out fear
and His means of grace
to receive healing of our deep inner hurts
having looked beyond our external behaviours, addictions, and efforts to dull the pain.

 This ministry does not look at how to deal with these, consequences of csa
as there are already 12 step programmes,  such as :

Celebrate recovery,
 Alcoholics Anonymous
  recovery groups etc.
Many participants may be a part of these and other programmes.

Basically I have approached csa recovery from the assumption that self medication ( smoking, gluttony, drunkeness, drugs)
is an effort to dull or deaden the painful csa memories.

Sure I understand this
but I longed for a ministry which would heal me of the source of the pain.
To remove the sword of abuse
to heal my broken heart
to cleans my defiled soul

I prayed and I pray for a path of recovery from csa.

for a restoration of my soul
for deliverance from csa forces
which constantly intruded into my life.

and to win the battle against dissassociation.
I found I was constantly frustrated at the lack of ministry of healing of the abuse or grief itself.

I am grateful for every ministry, councellor, church programme, lyrics of Christian Praise, books, forums etc
and hundreds of people who have helped me along the way
but I felt something was missing
I needed the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father and the comfort of the Holy Spirit to heal, restore, cleanse and deliver me.
Sometimes I needed councellors - Christian or secular
to open me up
and then prayer ministry
God's love and grace
and His word - the scriptures
to heal and deliver me.

Sometimes it seems hard - but He is able and it is worth it.

Sometimes I just had to hold onto my confidence in Jesus Christ to see me through.
Jesus is the way,
the truth
and the life

and as we trust Him, He will see us through.
As a young man I asked many questions

I saw that Jesus is the answer
He has always shown me HOW He is the answer.

Now we've dealt with the legal stuff
we can focus on our healing
on our recovery

Within a Christian Perspective this is made easier than some secular models
because the Bible outlines God's intention for our lives
so we can compare where we are
to where He created us to be
we can see the goals He has for us
so we can see what csa cost us
and what we are seeking to recover.
